Pastilla

But it is with "bstila" (pronounced pastilla), a thin flaky pastry stuffed with pigeon and almonds, that Moroccan Gastronomy reaches its peak. One should taste this succulent mixture of finely minced pigeon flesh with aromatic herb and honey at least once in a lifetime.

Pastries: A real Moroccan "delice". Lots of honey and almonds. The "gazelle horn" (a crescent - shaped almond pastry) is an irresistible temptation for the gourmet. 

 

 

Tea Maroc - Menth Tea

Beverages: Tea, named tea-maroc or Moroccan tea, is the national drink, it is served in glasses at all times and everywhere. It has mint flavor, is very sweet, and is sometimes seasoned with orange-tree blossoms
