Cohin Literary Forum Moroccan Literature Written In English Introduction Morocco is a beautiful country, its literature is more beautiful but unknown. Therefore, we are opening here a window on Moroccan literature, specially that written in English. For most of you, it will be a window of new, strange, unbelievable realities, yes, realities but unbelievable, while in Morocco it is business as usual. What do you know about Morocco in the fifties. What do you know about the conditions of the child, of the woman, of the elderly, of the unemployed and of the common people in his everyday life. Here, you will discover it through writing written with a pen which writes like a camera. A foreign author said about Moroccan literature: “ I think its literature is one of the finest in the region and it should be made more available in the West (I don't know of U.S., I believe the best-selling book by a Moroccan author is the Oprah-selected memoir by Malika Oufkir, so we're still at any Western markets, besides France, where Moroccan authors can sell.) Here in the stage of the sensational.” Therefore, we invite friends and enthusiasts of Literature in general, and of Morocco in particular, to participate to this forum with their comment, criticism, corrections, suggestions, impression and opinion to enrich this section. We mostly encourage the high school students, university students, faculty and scholars to encourage others to participate actively to reach our tarket, publishing for Moroccan authors who write in English language and to the introduce them to the Western lecturers. send us your comment on this introduction to literature@moroccotoday.net
