WAQWAQ ISLANDS Cohin Literary Forum Moroccan Literature Written In English At Last We discovered them The Islands Waqwaq Islands By: h. S. Lawrence Part One Introduction At last, “Waqwaq Islands”, we discovered them. Yes, we did. We did it just by accident. We have often heard of these imaginary Islands for a long time but nobody has even seen or visited them. They were there for so long that they become a legend. We first read about them in “One Thousand and One Night” stories, and everyone believes that all what are said about the Waqwaq Islands is just a legend, imagination, fantasia and dreams of an author. Today, we discovered that they really exist, these islands. The only ones who do not believe that it exists are the inhabitants of the Waqwaq Islands. We can say with certitude that these islands, “Waqwaq Islands” are very strange and ambiguous. We can find in these islands what no eyes have ever seen and what has never come to the imagination of a human being. We will take you with us in a trip to discover these islands, through a trip in its different parts. We will reveal to you its unique and different secrets; we will help you to discover its Labyrinths avenues and roads. You will learn about its people, their habits and traditions and practices and particularities.
